I make sculptural ceramics. My work is experimental and often abstract. I usually make large-scale installations and groups of objects rather than individual works. In my work I explore clay-skin tropes and animal forms. Human-animal metaphors and human-clay vessel metaphors interest me.
I work predominantly in stoneware and paper porcelain from my studio at the beautiful Farnham Pottery. I occasionally teach paperclay workshops at 318 Ceramics at the Pottery. Follow me on Facebook (Kim Bagley - Art) or twitter (@kim_bagley) to see what I'm up to.
