Summer Open Studios Saturday 3 June – Sunday 18 June 2017
With only a few days to go, over 250 artists are getting ready to welcome you to our main event of the year. The summer Open Studios offer visitors access to artists and makers and gives a valuable insight into how artwork is produced. The summer event is all about visiting studios, meeting artists and makers, seeing them at work, browsing completed works and seeing work in progress, and even trying your hand at making something for yourself.
Our launch event this year is Saturday 3rd June and nearly all the studios will be open that day, with many of them offering extra activities and special refreshments to mark the opening. You can see details of the launch here.
An easy way to plan your visits it to use our interactive map, simply enter a date that you would like to go and all the studios open that day will pop up. You can also use the app gowithYamo, available to download here.
Many artists have put together trail maps so that you can easily see artists that are in one area, you can see some of these trails here.
The colour brochure is also available now! For a copy, drop into your local library, council office, art venue or call 01483 519287.
You can also join our mailing list to recieve regular updates and information about all our events.
