Joanna Lloyd Glass

Joanna set up her Surrey garden glass studio after studying glass for a BA and MA at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. After 20 years of experience making glass she now specialises in casting processes using textures moulded directly from the environment and found objects. Plants feature a lot, as do beach combing finds.

Joanna has also made a series of evocative glass sculptures cast from everyday objects that belonged to her parents, such as her mum’s sewing tools and dad’s DIY tools. Glass is the perfect ethereal material to evoke a response and make you look at objects in a different way.

The garden studio will exhibit examples of Joanna’s work which is for sale and usually only found in Galleries and at selective craft fairs around the country. Sculptural work that is decorative, functional and beautiful.
