AJ Studio Gallery

AJ honed his skills in oil painting through a traditional apprenticeship at a renowned studio gallery in central Athens, as well as over a decade as a working artist and gallery manager. He pursued additional studies in oil painting at the Chelsea College of Art and his work has been showcased in solo and curated exhibitions, including at the Hellenic Centre in London. With an emotional and expressive style, AJ specialises in Mediterranean scenes, from landscapes and townscapes to still life works. He uses a palette of deep blues, greens, and warm, earthy browns and his work captures the vibrant Mediterranean light with bold brushstrokes and dramatic contrasts of light and shadow.
