Alexis Rizzo

I'm a creative & experimental artist from West Molesey. I describe my Painting style as “Where Art meets Spiritual Alchemy” because I use a variety of mediums, techniques & playful approaches to achieve my work....all with Worship music blaring out in the studio to create Art that comes from my heart & soul. I predominantly paint Landscapes, but as part of grief therapy since losing my beloved Dad I have started to make Abstract Art too as a way of helping cope with my emotions; Bold marks, shapes, meaning, thoughts & feelings pour out in paint to create free, expressive Art & has allowed me to let go of expectations & take risks in my work. I love going on walks and family holidays to find something that sparks that feeling of 'that just has to be a painting'! Whether it be life along the River Thames, a seascape from Beautiful Cornwall or a bustling market town that inspires I enjoy using different styles throughout my work to keep it fresh, exciting & lively. Art is my passion & turning my everyday life & experiences into colourful, spirited paintings gives me such Joy and I really hope that shines through each piece I create. ​
