Ali Lou Field

Ali Lou Field is a tapestry weaver and dyer, who weaves landscape inspired tapestries combined with embroidery, and also highly-textured contemporary framed pieces. Each weaving is infused with the essence of special places, through the interplay of delicious colours and the natural textures of the yarn. By hand-dying her own yarns for weaving landscapes, she creates an wonderful breadth of hues for each piece, that create the delicious tonal variations that really help the weavings come alive.
