Ayo Daramola-Martin is a West Sussex-based artisan designer and founder of DAMA Designs, creating bespoke furniture and homeware from sustainable hardwoods and resins. His distinctive work combines live-edge sustainable timbers—including Burr Elm—with vibrant and deep liquid resins, resulting in what he describes as unique pieces of “functional art.”
Ayo has also worked as an artisan designer on BBC daytime television. From his workshop in Ifold, West Sussex, he focuses on producing one-of-a-kind, handmade premium pieces, each crafted to celebrate the natural character of the materials.
His work is regularly showcased through curated UK design networks, including the Crafts Council Directory and Craft In Focus exhibitions and events.
