Ciara Pound

I am an artist and bookbinder working in a variety of mediums: from bold abstract acrylic paintings to naturally ecoprinted books. Exploration and discovery are at the forefront of what I do and am drawn to techniques and processes that produce unpredictable outcomes. I use a variety of techniques: painting, printmaking, dyeing and stitch. Although most of my work is with paper, either painted, dyed, or handmade, I occasionally incorporate fabric into my work.
