My journey through art started young. I always had a passion for creating things either out of clay or fabric. I studied design and ceramics at Kingston School of Fashion and have a BA with Honours in Fashion and Textiles. My work now comes from a combination of skills: - costuming, fabric design and painting to dress by decoupaging. I now sculpt the body form as well as dressing it. My sculptures are representational of the model in pose and I build up the form with clay. The sculpture is then hollowed out before firing and finally a marble resin cast is made. I then work on the design, using traditional Japanese handmade papers and texture to bring a further dimension to the piece.
