Ella Bulaitis

Ella has loved art her whole life. Studying Art and the History of Art sparked a lifelong appreciation for creativity, from visiting galleries to building a career as a professional photographer. Five years ago, she returned to painting and immediately reignited her passion for drawing and making art. She soon decided to dedicate more time to create—both at her local art group in Farnham and in her home studio in Headley Down. Ella mainly works in acrylics but also enjoys detailed pencil drawings and the occasional watercolour. She has a deep love of colour and is especially drawn to painting the natural world—capturing light and reflections on water, flowers, trees and beautiful landscapes. She also creates mystical pieces in acrylic or ink and watercolour pieces with animals in the landscape. For Ella, the joy of painting lies in texture, colour, and simply the act of putting paint to surface.
