Erin Donohoe is a commercial illustrator, designer, and painter, who sells illustrated goods and contemporary artwork. All illustrated products are manufactured in the UK, using eco-friendly materials wherever possible. Erin is based in Guildford on the River Wey, where she works from her home studio and designs and packs all her orders by hand, and sometimes with some assistance from her little person by her side. Drawing on both her extensive fashion design background and Naïve and Fauvism art influences, Erin works with clients to explore the brief and deliver commercial work with impact, on deadline. Clients range from global conservation clients such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to retail - Not On The High Street, luxury fashion - Lawrence Jenkin Spectacles as well as a range of startup brands. Erin is currently working on book illustrations with Menopause Maverick and International Therapist Hilary Lewin. My story: Since 2008 graduating with a Ba Hons in Fashion Design, Erin has been working as a fashion designer in London and sometimes continues to work on collections for companies that need some outside design inspiration. Her design background inspired her to start her own line of products but focusing mainly on illustration and surface print-designed products. Erin has always enjoyed doodling and finds her surrounding countryside a constant inspiration for ideas. She believes colour and nature are very therapeutic and often tries to pull the outside indoors to her home.
