Georgia Clegg

I\'m a textile artist based in Surrey, creating crochet tapestries inspired by nature. My work celebrates the beauty around us that often gets taken for granted, such as flowers, animals, and landscapes, through bright, joyful colours that bring these subjects to life. My process begins with an original illustration, which I then translate into a grid pattern, similar to pixel art, before bringing it to life through crochet. I create original tapestries and design patterns available through GeorgiaCleggDesigns for fellow makers to create their own version. For me, crochet is where art, craft, and well-being meet. It\'s both a creative practice and a form of self-care.
