Gill Cann

My passion for plants started alongside my father in the garden and can be found in the detailed portraits I produce in both watercolour, graphite and coloured pencil. Following a degree in Botany, working in research for the Blood Transfusion service , having a family and training as a teacher of early years I took a long distance course with The Society of Botanical Artists. My interest in anything botanical had not waned and I became a Fellow of the SBA . I exhibit regularly with local societies and with the SBA and have taken part in SAOS over the last 10 years. My work can be found in many private collections and has been accepted as part of restoration plant images by Kew.
