Helen Gray

Helen Gray is a painter and silk screen printmaker based in Guildford with a studio at Wimbledon Art Studios Her recent works are inspired by observations of nature with a deep appreciation of colour, light, movement and splendour in her immediate surroundings. She uses a mixture of media, layering to build texture and depth in her works. She embraces experimental mark making allowing herself the freedom to create paintings of movement within stillness. Screen Printing affords her the freedom of an open screen combined with the control of a fixed image. She has embraced the idea of allowing the print process to take her in different directions. Helen Gray has a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting Her exhibition highlights include: The Ra Summer Exhibition 2019 & 2022, Chelsea Art Society 2019 - 2025 and the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. Helen's works are held in many private and public collections including The San Diego University Gallery
