Izabella Meehan

I’ve always found a medium through which I’ve expressed my creativity which has included my work in a film industry, events management and the healing arts. This culminated in my discovery of working with silver. I thrive in learning new skills and techniques in the art of silver smithing and metalwork. I’ve been motivated by the pure enjoyment of creating beautiful pieces of jewellery using sterling silver, carefully sourced pearls and gem stones as well as glass, gold, copper and brass. Each piece is handmade in my Surrey Hills studio, one off and uniquely crafted using different patterns, textures, forms and colour. My inspiration comes from a variety of sources and environments including architecture, the media and materials at hand. I enjoy combining different styles and mediums as I believe creativity should have no restrictions or constrains.
