Jackie Hargreaves

I paint in the studio at the top of my garden surrounded by flowers and the sound of birdsong. Inspired by nature, my art reflects my time spent travelling and time in the outdoors. Recently I have dabbled in some still life, choosing bright colours to reflect fresh beginnings. My style, I suppose, is semi abstract and depending on how I feel on the day I work in all types of media, but mainly acrylics with some collage thrown in. I like to feel as free as possible and each piece is a journey of discovery - I never quite know how it will turn out or where it will take me, but the main thing is I have fun on the way!
