Jackie Kirk

Printmaker

I am an illustrator who works almost exclusively in linocut to produce bright and bold images. I gained a Masters in Illustration at the University of the Creative Arts, Farnham in 2016 and it was here that I rediscovered printmaking, developing my skills and experimenting with the medium ever since from my bijou garden studio. I try to create pieces with some kind of narrative behind them and have a particular fondness of illustrating animals, who lend themselves to creating interesting and quirky characters. I have enjoyed exhibiting locally in Surrey, including at Denbies Picture Gallery and taking part in craft fairs such as the Festival of Crafts at Farnham Maltings.
