I am very much a materials- led sculptor using Bronze and Cold Casting to create pieces using natural fragments, found objects and abstract forms. Handcut glass shards, often included and with the edges kept raw, exploit their jagged beauty and at the same time refract the available light. Works range in scale from the very small, able to be held, right up to towering pieces manufactured in steel that are metres high.
My studio, situated in The Surrey Hills, surrounded by woodlands, meadows and a stream is both joyful inspiration and a constant source of fallen material.
I have a BA Hons in Drawing from Camberwell School of Art.
I particularly enjoy the collaboration of working to commission.
