Drawings and paintings

I have always loved painting and drawing but only in the last ten years or so has it become something I 'have' to do. I am constantly grateful that I can make a living doing something that I love. I mainly work creating pet portraits and wildlife artworks, but also enjoy drawing and painting, children, cars, landscapes and any other subject - I enjoy a challenge! Where possible I like to meet my subject, and offer a photoshoot which is included in the commission price. It has been a privilege to have had six pieces of my art selected for the final of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation Wildlife Artist of the Year for five years in a row and am delighted that the sale of these works has raised over £1500 for the charity. I donate at least 10% of the proceeds from my work to animal and conservation charities and aim to raise at least £2000 per year to support these causes. I love working with clients to produce portraits that are a true representation of the character of their pet (or other family member) that they can treasure forever. I am devoting an ever growing percentage of my time producing bespoke pieces of art for clients across the UK and have collectors as far afield as Australia, Singapore and America. I am endlessly fascinated by different mediums and although my pencil and pastel drawings are still the most popular choice with my collectors, I also really enjoy oil painting and print-making, as well as wood-burning and creating abstract alcohol ink paintings. To see more of my work please take a look at my galleries on Instagram and Facebook (by clicking the orange icons on the right) or on my website. My most popular sizes for commissions are A4 (£330) and A3 (£450). Commissions include photoshoot* gift packaging and UK p&p. *photoshoot offered within 5 miles of KT11 for pieces A4 size and larger.
