Judit Matthews

I am Judit Matthews, a Hungarian born illustrative artist, living in the UK. I use pen and ink, watercolour and collage in my work in a quirky, whimsical way with lots of detail and pattern, disregarding scale or distance. I have appeared on Watercolour Challenge - feels like a lifetime ago!! I was named Landscape painter of the year by a competition ran by the Surrey Life magazine in 2017. My work has been displayed in The Mall Galleries, accepted to the annual open exhibition of the Society of Women Artists and the Society of Graphic fine art. I have illustrated five children\'s books and my work is stocked by several galleries around the country. I am member of the Tadworth and Dorking Art Group. I run art classes in my home studio and also online. I also do demonstrations and workshops for art groups. My artwork has been in several art magazines and publications.
