Jule Mallett

Jule Mallett is a dyer, printmaker, mixed media textile artist based in Guildford, Surrey, whose work often combines print, thread, rust and handstitch. Jule’s own creative practice is balanced by her role at Lockwood Studios as tutor, technician and custodian of the artroom. In between work, she draws inspiration from the everyday in her neighbourhood to create artwork which celebrates the beauty of the ordinary and impermanence. On sunny days you'll often find Jule outdoors rustdyeing both fabric and paper.
