I am a designer and maker of hand-crafted jewellery and flatware. With an aesthetic rooted in 20th century modernism, I try to combine simplicity of design and boldness of concept in my creations.
I make mainly pendants, brooches, and rings in sterling silver and other materials, using traditional silversmith techniques. I take my inspiration from many different sources, but my favourite area is modernist art and architecture - anything from the period bookended by Christopher Dresser and Mark Rothko. I’m also fascinated by stained glass, and several pieces are based around modern church or cathedral glass, particularly by glass artists such as John Piper and Thomas Denny.
I don’t do production runs or take commissions. All pieces are individual designs hand crafted by me, and each piece is therefore unique.
