Nature is the root of my artistic inspiration. I create visual journeys through fields, forests, beaches and mountains. When working in nature, I see my adventures through a Low-Fantasy lens that creates mystical art. I create hand bound artist books that contain the illustrated stories of these journeys and adventures. As well as the artist books, I use photography to capture ephemeral experiences that I cannot document within the books themselves. I used mixed media that mainly consists of watercolour paint, fine liner, collage and mark making. I then take these sketches and photographs to create larger paintings usually oil on canvas.
