Leslie Lund

I am a painter and psychotherapist who uses my art to recognise and explore the themes which arise in my life and my work. As such, my paintings typically deal with the major events and inner emotions and processes that shape us all, such as love, relationships, containment, disintegrations, fear, joy, anger, health and renewal. My paintings are often pointillist, but I also use a variety of other styles depending which issues are rising to the surface and how I wish to portray them. Complexity is a major theme for me, with circles generally representing women, and rectangles representing men. Putting paint to canvas has been an essential weekly activity throughout my life and therapy career. I am showing my most recent work as a representation of what I do, as a person, as a psychological professional, and an artist.
