Liane Matthews

Liane is a ceramic artist who works with both porcelain and stoneware clays. A predominant feature of her work is the use of textures to create tactile surfaces, which she further enhances through the application of glazes. She especially enjoys creating a variety of animals with whimsical features. Liane gained a BA (Hons) Degree in Ceramics from Loughborough University and currently works from her studio in Farnham. With over 20 years experience in teaching pottery for Surrey Adult Learning, Liane now also runs workshops and classes from her garden studio.
