Marina Randall

I'm a ceramic artist and pottery teacher living in Dorking and work mostly with white clay, coloured slips and oxides. I'm inspired by my memories of my native South Africa and now the lush Surrey Hills where I live. I enjoy making my pots slowly and thoughtfully, mostly thrown and altered or a slab construction and then in contrast use spontaneous brushstrokes in a painterly manner evocative of coastal ,desert or country landscapes.
