Mona Craven

Fine Artist | Researcher

Mona Craven, is a fine artist, researcher and educator. She investigates a whitework embroidery and an indigo-resist print cloth to materialise the elusive traces and fragile fragments found in-between cultural boundaries influenced by economic migration, colonisation and decolonisation. She approaches her practice as a multi-disciplinary artist. Drawing on varied media and material the work crosses the boundaries between the disciplines of textile making, printmaking and photography. Mona is a resident artist in Willow studio at the Little Acres Studios in Farnham.
