I studiedTheatre design at Birmingham art college and the Slade School of art UCL, London.
And worked in theatre and the fashion world . Later took 2year Ceramics Diploma at the City Lit in London and have been working in clay ever since.
Most of my ceramic work is either decorative plates or figurative sculptures. The natural world forms a backdrop for my figures where stories of myth and story telling are explored.
I have always enjoyed life drawing and recently have been using these drawings as well as drawing my ceramic figures as inspiration for paintings. This is a new departure for me and you will see some examples at this years Open Studio.
