Rebekah Jackson-Stevens

Originally from North Devon, I went to Art College in South Wales before training to be a teacher. I have a passion for colour and am inspired by nature and the landscape. I take a sketchbook with me wherever I go for walks or visit the coast and you will see from my portfolio how often I return to woodlands as a key subject in my work as the seasonal changes in light and colour provide endless inspiration. I work predominantly in acrylics and watercolour but also love to experiment with media, often incorporating collage, ink, print, gold and silver leaf in my work to capture the light.
