I came to painting through a single act of instinct — repainting an existing canvas and discovering, in that moment, a language I had always felt but never fully expressed. Self-taught, with no formal training, I developed a practice rooted in colour, layered texture and the emotional power of abstraction.
I work on large-scale canvas — typically 1m × 1m or 1m × 0.8m — using bold, expressive mark-making that rewards both immediate impact and quiet contemplation. Each piece is finished with an elegant floating frame in black or champagne, designed to inhabit a home with presence and intention.
My work is exclusively represented by Zanoogo Ltd, where it is available to collectors. I continue to paint alongside a professional career, driven entirely by the compulsion to create.
