Painter and ceramics  |  Visit Open Studio

I am a contemporary abstract landscape artist. These usually come from memories of my favourite places. Working mostly in oils and sometimes acrylic and mixed media. Training at Putney art collage in oils, watercolour and pottery, on and off for 10 years when my children were growing up. Before that I was a professional dancer for many years. Being so in touch with my feelings has helped with my painting. I get taken on a journey where the painting evolves in front of me into something I sometimes can't believe i've painted. Many layers later the painting has had a few different lives. It is never planed, it just happens. I have worked for three major galleries as a consultant and manager and also had my own very successful popup galleries "Joie de Vivre" in Hampton Court , Cobham and Esher. I have Exhibited my own work at Truart in Claygate. Reading and Sandown contemporary art fairs and the Landmark Teddington. This will be my 4th year of open studios. I am also showing at the http://www.theartfulgallery.co.uk/summer open studios this year.
