Sandy Easby

Oil painter.

Sandy a former professional dancer, traded her dance shoes for paint brush.She calls her self a contemporary landscape artist, working mostly in oils and sometimes mixed media. She studied art at Putney art collage in oils, watercolour and pottery, on and off for 10 years while raising her children, teaching ballet and running a model agency. Sandy has worked for three major galleries as a consultant and manager and also had her own very successful popup galleries "Joie de Vivre" in Hampton Court , Cobham and Esher. Exhibited and sold at Truart in Claygate, Reading and Sandown Esher contemporary art fairs and the Landmark Teddington.Surrey open studios for 4 years Tremenheere Gallery sculpture park gallery in Penzance 2025. Solo show at Porthleven boat house June 2025. Cornwall open studios 2025. Chapel House hotel Penzance with the Newlyn art school. Whispering Stones was short listed for the RA Summer exhibition 2025. Having spent the last year living on a cliff in Cornwall on the professional Landscape course at Newlyn art school. Taking Landscape and life drawing classes at St Ives art school. Pottery classes at Richard Phethean Tresabenn pottery, she feels her art has moved forward and now has a unique language of its own.
