My favourite medium is acrylics. I love the fast and furious quality of the paint I sometimes add to paintings with various mark making tools and accents of collage. I love experimenting and have recently been working on a series of paintings under the theme of 'Am Walk in the Woods' and a collection of floral paintings using a loose and fluid technique.
Semi-abstract landscapes, both local and informed by my travels, form the main body of work I produce, but during the recent 'lockdown' I enjoyed practising long neglected skills in portraits and a series of garden birds for cards and callanders.
