Susan Yeates

My name is Susan Yeates and I am an artist, author and online educator based in Woking in the UK. I have created over 35 online courses since 2017 including a sketching membership called Inspire. I've authored 6 art books including Sketchbook Challenge: 100 Prompts for Daily Drawing and Beginner's Guide to Linocut, spoken at TedX Woking and been featured on HobbyMaker TV. Over the years 1000s of aspiring artists have studied sketching with me and taken part in my annual 30-Day Sketchbook Challenge. It was the start of this annual challenge followed by a daily sketching practice that kickstarted my creativity and ignited the flame in me to share the secrets of daily drawing with the world All my educational offerings are designed to spark creativity and empower people to take charge of their own art practice again. I am on a mission to get everyone sketching and creating art. Together I believe we can fill thousands, maybe even millions of sketchbooks! I am also a busy mama to a 5-year old budding artist, and co-owner of Fired Frog Pottery Cafe in Woking.
