Colour, patterns, textures and form. These elements inspire my photographic work across a diverse range of subjects from architecture and landscapes to abstract compositions. With a degree in 3D design my photographic work has naturally been influenced by the built environment with commissions from architects and other professionals, as well as photography for a specialist picture library with images published in the UK and internationally. My interest in the visual arts extends beyond photography. I’ve worked with local arts organisations to raise the profile of visual artists in the area, curating exhibitions complemented by educational events that connect communities with creativity. Recently I have compiled my favourite images into photographic books, creating collections that narrate visual stories and themes. I have also been experimenting with painting and ceramics!
