With a degree in 3 dimensional design I first worked with architects where I developed an interest in photography and the built environment. I was commissioned to record projects, helped set up a specialist picture library and had photos published in the UK and overseas. Since then my photography has taken a personal direction looking for patterns and textures, reflections and repetitive elements giving images an abstract quality. Nature and manmade objects have come to feature strongly - tangles of branches, rusty metal and amazing colours. My current series involves printing on to aluminium - giving a striking and contemporary look. As well as being involved with arts consultancy and curating exhibitions, I have explored other mediums including painting and ceramics, also illustrated here.
