Creating with clay

This six week course explores the endless possibilities of hand-building with clay. Focusing on both form and surface students will learn a variety of techniques including coiling, slabbing, and using molds to build both vessels and platters.
There will also be the opportunity to paint the work using slips, stains, underglazes and glazes and the work will then be fired to stoneware making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
