Beth Kirby studied Biology at University of California San Diego and University of Bristol England. Her studies in the life sciences have now become a focus in her artistic medium. She enjoys capturing nature and the human form on both canvas and sculpture. Living in Surrey has given her the opportunity to capture the beautiful scenery in both impressionist and contemporary styles. Her media use is broad from oils, acrylics, and mixed media to sculpture. She started painting at age 12 in oils with traditional methods and has moved into more free and contemporary expression in recent years.
