My focus is on smooth-shaped, tactile vases and bowls that combine aesthetic appeal and functionality.
My interest in ceramics began in 2004 and today pottery is my full-time occupation; I am based in a studio at my home in East Molesey Surrey.
I work mainly in porcelain and stoneware and create wheel-thrown items which I decorate with a wide range of slips, glazes and lustres, often made by myself from raw materials. These are then fired at up to 1,280 degrees C in an electric kiln. I also produce decorative smoke fired Raku pieces using a gas kiln.
