Marion Rodgers

Textile Artist

Taking inspiration mainly from the natural world, architecture and text, Marion produces story board scenes with symbolism and figurative interpretations. Textiles are created by combining hand and machine stitching in a variety of threads and working them onto painted backgrounds as well as including recycled elements. Marion has adopted a pheasant as her symbol and you may spot one or two in her landscape pieces. She also works with handmade felt, both in two and three dimensions. Marion's work has been exhibited at various galleries in the South East.
