Having been an amateur potter for many years, I retired from my day job in 2010 and moved to Provence where I set up a home studio.
Returning to Surrey in 2013, I now work mainly with stoneware and make individual functional items for the home & garden, decorated with slips and reduction-fired in a gas kiln. I currently use homemade Ash and Chun glazes.
Common themes reflect the natural world: landscapes, trees, fish and birds.
My studio is very small but I run occasional workshops elsewhere.
I exhibit at local village craft fairs and am usually at Bookham Country Market on Friday mornings.
