32 Trained at Kingston School of Art and the Royal College of Art, her work - influenced by her interior design training, combined with a love of strong colour - has resulted in vibrantly coloured watercolours with wax, pastel, torn paper salt, PVA glue and gum arabic. Texture is the main focus of her more recent work - inspired by woods and ponds near her home - using oil and a palette knife to obtain a semi-abstract depiction of the layers and texture of woodland. Using a similar technique, her latest work uses torn fragments of textured, painted paper to portray woodland and landscape.
