There are so many things to love about polymer - its intense colour, its tactile nature, and its adaptability: hundreds of different techniques have been 'borrowed' from other disciplines including textiles, ceramics and metal-smithing.
I use the glassblowing technique 'millefiori' and the Japanese metalwork technique 'mokume gane' to create my patterns. Once cured, polymer is tough and beautiful and can be turned into a variety of stunning items.
I'm a member of the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen, and I am also on the steering group of the London Polymer Clay Group.
