Textile Artist

Janine's main influences are colour and texture. She has a particular love of working with wool fibres of all types to create felt items using varying techniques which include traditional wet felting, nuno felt and also knitted felt. Silk, cotton and other fibres are incorporated with wool to create a variety of wearable accessories and textile art objects. Janine also makes beaded felt jewellery

Weaver / Textile Artist

Joan makes a variety of woven items inspired by today's array of textured and colourful yarns. These items include scarves, wraps and items for the home. Weaving on the loom will be demonstrated during open studios. Joan has many years of experience as a weaver and previously as a teacher of weaving and other crafts.
