Caroline Rutter Originals BSc MSc PhD

Glass Artist

The Avian Alphabet Trail from Avocet to Zebra Finch includes lifelike Flying raptors, jungle Hoatzin, woodpeckers, Owls and garden birds. Ghostly figures drift through the trees with glass and living butterflies flickering in the sun. Creatures, real and re-imagined: horses, stegasaurus, triceratops, unicorns, archaeopteryx, dragons, fish, cats and dogs emerge life-like captured in shimmering, colourful glass. This year David Bowie and Grace Jones will be safe indoors. The glass can be as light-fittings, bowls, mirrors and wall hangings as well as free-standing. Commissions welcomed.
