Joanne Aylwin

Weaver / Textile Artist

I am a textile artist working mainly through the medium of weave but also other textiles such as felting. I am interested in creating decorative pieces using mixed media. My inspiration comes from the world around me and story telling, bringing our ancient roots into a modern context.

Linda Scott-Cerins

Glass Artist

Art in all its forms - ceramics, paintings, photography, printing, sculpture and textiles - has always interested me and for the glass work I produce, I derive my inspiration from life in general: from the world around us, being exposed to adverts, going to art exhibitions, the clothes we wear and from nature. I try to make my glass work fun and interesting e.g. the Centre Court tennis bowl/ball. I am buzzing with ideas and just love being immersed in such a creative medium. The more I learn about the various glass techniques, the more I want to learn.
