Carolyn Wallis

Hand Weaver

My fascination with weave structures and deep admiration for the beauty of colours and patterns found in the natural world come together in my work. I use mainly spun silk yarns, dyed and woven in colours and patterns that seem to me to best capture the essence of these beautiful things. Each scarf is unique, even when it is one of a series on a similar theme.
