Susan Goodridge

Painter

Contemporary artworks in acrylic on canvas. My aim is to create an explosion of rich colour and deep texture. I use a variety of tools including pallet knives and sponges to move and work the paint into the canvas.

Jillie Capstick

Painter

I make my pictures in a tiny studio set at the bottom of the garden in the picturesque village of Shere. I produce a wide variety of paintings ranging in subject matter from wild flowers through to still lifes, landscapes and nudes. My first sale was a still life of a jar of flowers to the fashion house Max Mara and it formed the basis of a series of silk prints and designs for the Weekend Autumn/Winter Collection 2018/19. I usually use my own photographs as a starting point for a new piece of work.
