Diana Pollock

Artist

My preferred medium has been for a long time pastels, building up layers to create sometimes unexpected effects. I have developed a keen interested in the relationship with still life and the artist, believing that the interpretation of the subject matter is often consciously or not, autobiographical. I admire and reference the work of artists such as Ben Nicholson, William Scott, Georgio Morandi and Matthew Smith. I now work from home in Guildford and have exhibited in sole and collaboratory exhibitions in London and the South East.

Louise Burnett BA SAI

Painter

The tradition of landscape painting has always been the essence of my paintings. Working from the environment throughout the seasons, my inspiration comes from an emotional response to the changing effects of the natural light using watercolor sketches and personal notes to produce larger acrylics on canvas. I have exhibited at the Mall Galleries, RA Summer Exhibiton and have been an artist in Residence at Polesdon Lacy Surrey.
