Hannah Cantrell

Illustrator

My work celebrates the geometry of natural forms. I am fascinated by the patterns and geometric shapes that can be found in nature.

Natalie Collins

Artist

My photographic background very much influences my work. I find inspiration in nature and love nothing more than being out in nature, with my macro lens, lost in the intricate design brilliance of flowers and plants. I use these images to create prints and use as inspiration for my artwork. After completing a screen-printing work shop I have realised other exciting options for my photographic and hand painted images. I have been experimenting with both, screen printing and digitally transforming my macro images and drawings onto fabrics, so far, creating cushions and napkins.

Natalie Collins welcomes visitors all year round by appointment.

Esther Lyth

Painter

Esther is always drawn to the depth of colour, shifting light and grandeur of nature. She paints flowers, mountains, oceans, rivers, trees and gardens; anything that grows green and the sunshine hits and sparks into colour. Esther paints with acrylic on board or canvas often mixing paint directly onto the canvas. Esther paints both oversized canvases and smaller ones, but always the warmth of colour, life and vitality comes through.

Emma Pooles

Textiles and Linocut Prints

I have been designing and sewing quilts for over a decade and find the making process deeply satisfying. I get my inspiration for colour and pattern from things I see in my everyday surroundings, from art and from nature. I have been known to embellish with some embroidery or hand quilting. Linocutting has also been a passion and more recently I have started combining the two by printing onto fabric. I have some grand ideas for clothes and cushions and feel like 2020 is going to be a very productive and interesting year with my friends in the Cherchefelle Artists and Makers.

Oria

Jewellery Maker

I graduated as a qualified goldsmith in 1996 in Norway. On graduating, I co-founded the AIDA-jewellery studio in Oslo. After several years at AIDA, I then studied advanced jewellery design & techniques at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and worked for a prominent New York jewellery designer. In 2002, I moved to London and went back to working on my own designs founding Oria in 2007. I now live in Reigate, where all my ethical jewellery and Fairtrade Gold Jewellery is designed and made.

ANDREA

Printmaker and Painter

I worked in children's publishing for many years, working my way up to art director before I then had children and took a step back to bring up my children, this has allowed me time to work on many projects that I love. I wouldn't call myself anything specific except to say 'maker of art'. I'm reluctant to put a specific name to my work as I like so many different things. I appreciate colour, texture, light and shade. My work is how I feel that day, my day is how I feel.

Anna Heslop

Painter, printmaker, textiles

I am part of a group of artists and crafts people based in Reigate called 'Cherchefelle Artists and Makers'. I have always worked with fabrics, falling in love with free machine embroidery. Of late, I have been working in watercolour, painting the east coast of Scotland, mainly St.Cyrus beach, my true spiritual home! I have illustrated worship songs and worked from people's photographs of favourite views. I have been working with lino printing more recently, I take my inspiration from artists such as Mark Hearld and Angie Hughes. I am always happy to do commissions.
