Aileen Hamilton MA RCA

Jeweller

I am a jeweller producing one-off pieces and working mainly to commission. I trained at the Royal College of Art and enjoy working with precious metals and stones, specialising in freeform rose-cut diamonds and the up-cycling of jewellery for clients. I love creating new designs from old unloved pieces. I also run a busy jewellery school in Redhill, offering regular jewellery-making and silversmithing classes plus specialist workshops in my purpose built, well equipped workshop. I have space for a maximum of six students, allowing me to give personal tuition and individual attention.

Joseph Wyer

Maker

I build bespoke furniture, gifts and larger projects including a shepherds hut, all from reclaimed materials. The predominant medium I use is reclaimed timber, but I also work with metal, leather and stone. I have always been passionate about old materials and exposing the beauty and the provenance of them whilst at the same time creating useful, functional products.

Ruth Winchester

Polymer Clay Millefiori Artist

There are so many things to love about polymer - its intense colour, its tactile nature, and its adaptability: hundreds of different techniques have been 'borrowed' from other disciplines including textiles, ceramics and metal-smithing. I use the glassblowing technique 'millefiori' and the Japanese metalwork technique 'mokume gane' to create my patterns. Once cured, polymer is tough and beautiful and can be turned into a variety of stunning items. I'm a member of the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen, and I am also on the steering group of the London Polymer Clay Group.

David Hitchcock

Jewellery Designer

Stunning hand-crafted aluminium jewellery created using images of butterflies, leaves, and flowers to produce items that are beautiful and easy to wear. Fascinated as I have always been with the myriad forms, shapes and colours of the natural world, it has been a delight to discover a way in which I can combine this love of nature with my love of design and artistry, to produce a unique range of jewellery. Photography has also been a life-long passion with me and it has brought so much satisfaction to have developed a process that has allowed me to be able to transpose images on to aluminium.

Andrew Webster

Photographer

I am a photographer who works across a range of subjects from landscapes to abstracts. I am inspired by colour, space and stories as much as places or people. My images try to tell the story of a place or an event and capture its essential visual elements and character. I am as inspired by painters (Turner, Rothko or Heron) as by photographers or locations. My exhibition includes landscapes from India to the Outer Hebrides, wild places in low light, performers on the street and on stage and every day abstracts.
