Linda Stanton

Painter

I paint in watercolour but sometimes mix the media with gouache and inks. Recently I have become interested in painting with silk inks on silk. I find inspiration everywhere and paint whatever appeals to me at the time. My paintings are therefore an eclectic mix of landscapes, seascapes, figures and still life.I have loved drawing and painting all my life.

Dorothy Stapleton

Collage, print, acrylics, art quilts

After 20 years of teaching and lecturing on quilting, nationally and internationally, I find collage and print suit my quirky style of work. I love using bright colours. I am currently making collages using buttons and tea bag tags Recently I have been experimenting with paper marbled landscapes. I like using recyclede materials.
